SIUE’s Mora Shares Delicious Grilled Cheese Recipes on Show Me St. Louis

SIUE School of Education, Health and Human Behavior’s Kathy Mora, PhD, RD, assistant professor of nutrition, shared a delicious array of “fancy” grilled cheese sandwiches with Show Me St. Louis viewers on Thursday, Dec. 13.
The inspiration behind the sandwiches came after Mora and her nutrition students visited Marcoot Jersey Creamery in Greenville. Examples she shared included fresh mozzarella with fig jam, heritage cheese with caramelized onions, smoked gouda with apples, quark with strawberries and mint, and white cheddar with Tomme.
Mora paired the cheesy goodness with a green smoothie that featured Marcoot Jersey Creamery’s mango whey ice.
