SIUE Mourns Loss of Student Heavenleigh Stonewall

The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville community is mourning the loss of junior College of Arts and Sciences student Heavenleigh Stonewall, who passed away after a prolonged illness on Tuesday, Oct. 17.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with Heavenleigh Stonewall’s family and friends as they cope with this tragic loss,” said SIUE Chancellor Randy Pembrook. “Her time at SIUE was far too short. She will be missed by all of those who she encountered on our campus.”

Counseling services are available to students by calling 650-2842 or visiting the Counseling Health Services Office in the Student Success Center lower level adjacent to the Morris University Center.
