SIUE Alumnus Honored with Governor’s Volunteer Service Award

SIUE alumnus Jonathan H. N. Long, of Glen Carbon, has been recognized with the Governor’s Volunteer Service Award for the tremendous impact he has made on the local community through volunteerism and service.
Long earned a bachelor’s in sociology in 2011 and a master’s in sociology in 2014, both from the SIUE College of Arts and Sciences.
The Edwardsville Intelligencer detailed Long’s receipt of the award, along with his history of volunteerism and community involvement in an article posted Thursday, May 4.
