Campus Fire Station Ribbon Cutting

The City of Edwardsville held a ribbon cutting Saturday, April 22, for its new fire station located on the SIUE campus on Northwest University Dr. Edwardsville Intelligencer reporter Cody King posted the story.
Vice Chancellor for Administration Rich Walker represented the SIUE administration and noted how the fire station was already making a difference since going into service last November.
The station serves both the SIUE campus and the warehouse district in Edwardsville. It includes two firefighters/paramedics, up to two ambulances, a truck and other necessary equipment.
