"The Washington Post" Features Research of SIUE’s Mares and Moffett

The research of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s Dennis Mares and Ken Moffett has reached a global audience with the publishing of their post, “Climate negotiators, listen up: A warmer world is a more violent world,” in The Washington Post Monkey Cage blog.
The article was featured Thursday as world leaders attended the World Climate Change Conference in France.
Mares is an associate professor of sociology and criminal justice studies, and Moffett is an associate professor of political science in SIUE’s College of Arts and Sciences.
