SIUE Mourns Passing of CAS Student James Hudson

The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Community today is mourning the death of James R. Hudson, who passed away Tuesday, Dec. 15. The 20-year-old Granite City native was a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences.
”Our hearts and minds are with the Hudson family,” said SIUE Interim Chancellor Steve Hansen. “We know that James will be missed by everyone with whom he interacted on campus. Our entire SIUE community sends its condolences to James’ family and friends.”
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 18 at Irwin Chapel in Granite City. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19 at the funeral home.
