SIUE’s Hospice Volunteer Initiative Celebrates and Comforts

The Hospice Volunteer Initiative, a student organization at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, is demonstrating heartwarming volunteerism by helping hospice providers celebrate and comfort clients. The group began in 2013 as a class project, but has expanded into a campuswide organization. Now its mission is spreading to other college campuses.
The Edwardsville Intelligencer highlighted the group's compassionate efforts in an article posted Monday.
