Southern Illinois University Edwardsville alumna Sara Wojcicki Jimenez will replace former state Rep. Raymond Poe in the 99th House District. Jimenez is the chief of staff to First Lady Diana Rauner.
She earned her bachelor’s in mass communications from the SIUE College of Arts and Sciences in 2001.
The State Journal-Register detailed Jimenez’s appointment in an article posted Friday.
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville is authorized to operate as a postsecondary educational institution by the Illinois Board of Higher Education.
