SIUE Pharmaceutical Experts Share Knowledge at Heroin Task Force Meeting

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Pharmacy’s Jessica Kerr and Kelly Gable, associate professors in the Department of Pharmacy Practice, shared their expertise on substance abuse at Thursday’s Madison County Heroin Task Force meeting in Edwardsville.
The pharmaceutical experts were joined by fourth-year pharmacy student Sean O’Bannon as they presented on reasons for substance abuse, risk factors and common paths to addiction, as well as the University’s community outreach program, Generation Rx.
