SIUE Cougar Literacy Clinic Benefits Area Students and Education Specialists

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville is home to the only certified Literacy Education Program in the region. The program offers teachers an opportunity to enhance their teaching abilities and achieve a specialized literacy certification.
Children in the community also benefit from the program through the University’s Cougar Literacy Clinic. Graduate students in the program help enhance the literacy skills of area students, K-12, by providing tutoring at the SIUE Cougar Literacy Clinic.
