Welcome Week Celebrations Continue with Annual Ice Cream Social

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Welcome Week celebrations continued Wednesday as hundreds of students, faculty and staff were treated to free ice cream and SIUE t-shirts.
SIUE Interim Chancellor Stephen Hansen, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Jeffrey Waple and Edwardsville Mayor Hal Patton handed out 700 Dairy Queen mini blizzards during the annual ice cream social held in the Morris University Center.
The fun event offered an opportunity for students and University leaders to interact and share their excitement for the new academic year.
