SIUE Welcome Week Introduces University Departments to Students
Representatives from various departments within Southern Illinois University Edwardsville are set up in Morris University Center (MUC) to provide information to students.
Approximately 33 units have booths in the MUC as part of the University Department Resource Fair, according to Michelle Welter, associate director of the Kimmel Student Involvement Center. The fair, which opened yesterday, ends today.
“The fair is for students to ask questions and learn about the various departmental services as we start another school year,” Welter said.
Some of the University departments represented include:
- Small Business Development Center
- The Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion
- School of Nursing
- Office of Sustainability
- Disability Support Services
- Kimmel Student Involvement Center
- Campus Recreation
- Health Service
- University Housing
- Student Employment
