Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s Mitsuru Shimizu, assistant professor of psychology in the School of Education, Health and Human Behavior, has collaborated with researchers from Cornell University to study how participation in high school sports affects career opportunities and late-in-life leadership skills and behavior.
