SIUE Women’s Golfer Awarded Lyons Memorial Scholarship

Rockford native, Alison Gorman, a junior in the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Nursing and member of the 2014-15 SIUE Women’s Golf team, has been awarded the Jane Lyons Memorial Scholarship worth $2,500 annually. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years for a cumulative total of $10,000.
The inaugural scholarship was established within the Rockford Park District Foundation. It is directed toward young women who enjoy playing golf and who are pursuing an undergraduate degree.
