SIUE Students Receive Complimentary Breakfast During Finals Week
A good breakfast is recommended to start out the day, and students at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville were treated to a big spread to help prepare them for Finals Week.
SIUE Chancellor Julie Furst-Bowe, Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Parviz Ansari and other University administrators and staff served a free breakfast to hundreds of students Sunday night at the annual late night breakfast.
Some items on the menu included: pancakes, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, bacon, pastries and juice.
Morris University Center, Kimmel Student Involvement Center and University Housing sponsored the breakfast. The collaboration to feed students and support their finals preparation started in the fall 2013 semester.
