A study conducted by researchers in the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Pharmacy addresses effective communication with deaf and hard-of-hearing (HOH) patients.
The study, published in the “Journal of the American Pharmacists Association,” indicates pharmacists’ ability to communicate with the deaf and HOH population will impact medication adherence and errors.
