India Week 2015 at SIUE to Features Culture, Art and Great Food
The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Indian Student Association is holding its annual Indian Week.
Monday, the Indian Student Association created a rice art display in the Morris University Center.
Today, a mock Indian wedding was held in the Morris University Center Meridian Ballroom. Steve Tamari, associate professor in the Department of Historical Studies, was wed to his wife, Sandra Tamari, specialist in International Affairs.
The Indian Student Association will close out the week with its annual Indian Night dinner:
Indian Night 2015
5:30 p.m., doors open
6 p.m., cultural events begin
6:30 p.m., dinner begins
7:30 p.m., dinner ends and cultural events continue
9 p.m., cultural events conclude
Morris University Center Meridian Ballroom
