Affordable
SIUE offers one of the lowest tuition rates in Illinois. Plus, in-state tuition is available to undergraduate students from all 50 states. A number of scholarships, assistantships and awards are given to new and continuing students to help make their education even more affordable. SIUE international students are eligible for the Geographic Enhancement Opportunity (GEO) tuition rate to provide financial assistance for those who qualify.

SIUE graduate courses are offered in a variety of full-time and part-time formats. Day, night and weekend classes are available on campus. SIUE also provides a variety of online and hybrid courses.

Accredited
SIUE holds the same accreditation as many of the nation’s most prestigious schools, but we charge significantly less for tuition. SIUE is accredited by more than 35 accrediting agencies. Our School of Business is one of only five percent of business schools in the world with the prestigious AACSB accreditation, and our School of Engineering maintains accreditation from ABET—the same standards used at MIT, Stanford and other top engineering schools.
