The Migration is Over. Time to Clean Up!

Now that YuJa has finished the migration of videos from TechSmith Knowmia to YuJa, your media collection could probably use a clean out. When you enter YuJa and land on the My Media page, you will most likely find 2 folders with your email address. This happened because the first migration was not a complete export of everyone’s libraries. So, one folder contains all your videos and the other one is only a partial. If you only have one folder with your email, not to worry. That means your videos came over all at once in the second migration process.
What to do if you have 2 folders named with your email:

Look in each folder to determine which one contains all your videos.

If you manually relinked videos to prepare for the Fall Semester from your first, partially migrated folder, please move those files out of the folder before proceeding to Step 2.

Delete the partial folder. Hover over the cog in the right corner > choose More. Click the Actions tab and choose Delete Folder. Type Confirm in the box and click Yes.

Enter the folder labeled with your email.

Click More Actions at the top. Choose Select All.

Click and drag the videos (and any folders) over to the My Media in the left navigation pane.

Confirm the videos were moved to My Media. Delete the folder labeled with your email address.

Remove any duplicated videos or videos that are no longer needed.
What to do if you have 1 folder named with your email:

Enter the folder labeled with your email.

Click More Actions at the top. Choose Select All.

Click and drag the videos (and any folders) over to the My Media in the left navigation pane.

Confirm the videos were moved to My Media. Delete the folder labeled with your email address.

Remove any duplicated videos or videos that are no longer needed.
