Choosing a mail app: Microsoft Outlook
Posted June 12, 2019

The native mail apps on the iPhone and Android may work perfectly fine, but I find the Microsoft Outlook app to be a much better alternative. A clean and minimal design, great organization, and some unique features make it a great option for your email app.
Swiping gestures
Swiping gestures allow you to quickly delete, archive, flag, etc. These swipe gestures can be customized to your preference.
Focused inbox
Outlook implements a "Focused" inbox option which automatically sorts your important email from all of the spam mail. This option can be turned off if needed.
Multiple accounts
I'm sure we all have multiple email accounts to check and keep track of...both personal and work. The Outlook app makes it easy to add all of your email accounts and view them in one spot. Or you can view them separately as well...whichever you prefer.
Attachments
Online cloud storage accounts such as Dropbox, OneDrive, and Google Drive can be easily linked to your account. This makes it easy to share attachments from any of your cloud storage platforms.
Calendar and Contacts
While Apple has separate apps for Mail, Calendar and Contacts, Microsoft Outlook combines all 3 into 1 app. The integration of these 3 makes it easier to navigate without having to leave the app.
With its modern, clean and user-friendly design, Microsoft Outlook is a great choice for your mobile mail app.
