RedShelf Now Available In Blackboard Courses
Posted May 9, 2019

The Cougar Store, SIUe Textbook Services, and Information Technology Services have collaborated to bring RedShelf to your Blackboard courses.
RedShelf is the Content Delivery System used on campus for all digital course materials. RedShelf grants students access to their digital course materials on the first day of class through the link installed in Blackboard. The program originally started with all publisher courseware and is now moving towards transitioning print adoptions over to eBook adoptions. RedShelf currently partners with over 100 publishers to distribute the content faculty adopt for their courses via Blackboard. The service is intended to augment the rental system and to provide digital materials that publishers offer. Beginning with the SU19 course shells, the RedShelf link is included in the menu of each course shell in Blackboard.
In order to have the materials for courses delivered through the RedShelf Link in Blackboard, faculty will need to turn in adoptions to the Cougar Store or Textbook services stating that they would like to go digital for the course. Contact Emily Colton (emgray@siue.edu) or Matthew Toje (mtoje@siue.edu) in the Cougar Store for additional information and assistance.
