New 2-Factor Authentication on Android

Security should probably be a bigger priority than it is for most people. Protect your passwords and secure your accounts....at all costs.
Why? (Really? Someone would ask why? I mean...really?)
Because there is always someone out there who, given the chance, would LOVE the chance to hack into your stuff, steal your identity, siphon money out of your bank account, etc.
With Google's new physical security key feature (which is an advanced form of 2-factor authentication), any Android running Android 7 or higher can be used as a physical security key.
2-factor authentication goes a long way into making your stuff more secure. With 2-factor authentication, not only do you have to enter your password, but your phone will also be needed before you are given access to your account. So a hacker would, in theory, need your password as well as your phone to get into your accounts. That seems a lot less likely to happen, right?
Right.
