How to Get Mathematica
Mathematica is currently installed in all ITS computer labs.
Computer clusters
- The Mathematica license for SIUE allows for parallel computing on dedicated research clusters, or in ad-hoc, or distributed grid environments. For details, please contact: Pam Yergler at Wolfram Research
To request Mathematica Desktop, follow the directions below.

Faculty, Staff, and Students
- Request access to the products:
Mathematica Desktop For school-owned or personally-owned machines: - Fill out this form to request a download. Use your @siue.edu email.
- Choose faculty/staff or student.
- Click "Get Matheamtica Desktop" and begin the download.
- Sign in to the Wolfram User Portal when prompted. If you don't have a Wolfram ID, choose "Create one" and follow those prompts.
- Find the email with your verification code and enter it. Hit "Continue." Be sure to check your Spam/Junk folder, just in case.
- Complete the form to request your Activation Key and click "Submit."
