Smart Classroom Equipment
Although there are different needs in each classroom, ITS provides the following equipment, as part of a standard smart classroom package. This standard package also includes a projection system with speakers and a computer. If you would like to see something added or changed in a room, please fill out the feedback form.

Document Camera
Document cameras allow the instructor to share a physical object with the class digitally on the projector. Items typically shared include books, dissections, photos, and transparency sheets. Click here for instructions on using the document cameras.

SMART Podium/SMART Board/SMART LCD
There are a variety of SMART products that allow you to make notes and annotate on top of your content (desktop, Power Point slides, a web site, Excel chart, etc.) The SMART Podium is the most common, but here is a tutorial to using the SMART Podium and the SMART LCD.

DVD/VCR
Despite the amount of video on the Internet, DVD/VCR players are still the only method of playing some content. ITS also offers Blu Ray players in some rooms. If you will need a Blu Ray Player for your class, please let us know using the feedback form.
