EMS and Visix Digital Signage
The SIUE digital signage initiative introduced by the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs is tied into EMS Campus through a data connector between AxisTV and EMS Campus. Departments using EMS can automatically populate a schedule of events on their digital displays by configuring their connector to select those event types, statuses, and rooms in EMS that they wish to display on their digital signs.
The SIUE EMS administrator's role with digital signs is solely to work with end users to build those data connectors. All other support for the digital signs is provided through the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs.
