Pre-Arrival Webinars

Recordings are posted here and emailed out to everyone that registers for the webinar. Webinars include Housing, Undergraduate Advising, and the Bursar's Office. We will also host 2 pre-arrival webinars with International Admissions, where we discuss pre-arrival tasks, orientation, and answer questions you may have about SIUE.

Late Arrivals
We understand some students experience challenges with the student visa application process and offer our support with preparations for a late arrival or a deferral to the next available start term.
Graduate students may only arrive after the first day of classes with written approval from the university and their academic department. To request a late arrival letter, you must email the office of international admissions at intladm@siue.edu. You must explain the reason for late arrival and include proof of a scheduled visa interview appointment at a U.S. embassy or consulate that will occur before the start date listed on your I-20. If approved, you will receive a letter indicating the last day you can arrive on campus to begin your coursework. In order to meet this deadline for new international student check-in you will need to enroll full-time, be physically present at SIUE, and complete the international student check-in process. Details about mandatory check-in instructions were sent to all students in prior communications via email.
Undergraduate students are NOT permitted to arrive late.
