Getting Your I-94 Number
It is your responsibility to check and print out an I-94 each time you enter the United States.
Step 1: Visit U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Step 2: To get your most recent I-94, click "GET MOST RECENT I-94."
Step 3: Click "CONSENT & CONTINUE."
Step 4: Complete the required data fields. Information must be entered as it appears in the travel document used to enter the United States. Click "NEXT."
Step 5: If the information submitted matches a valid entry in the I-94 database, click "PRINT.". If your record is not found, read the following questions to help you check for mistakes and try to re-enter the information:
-
- Did you use dashes or titles? If so, re-enter the information without them.
- Did you enter your first and last name the same way it appears on your passport?
- Did you enter the passport number that appears on the upper right hand side of your passport, including any letter(s)?
- Did you enter your country of citizenship (country that issued the passport, not where you currently live)?
- Did you enter your first and middle name? If so, try entering your first name only or try entering your first and middle name in the first name box.
Check your I-94 for accuracy, making sure your entry date and visa type are correct, and verifying that the “admit until” date and admissions stamp on your passport list “D/S” (Duration of Status) and not a specific date.
If your record is incorrect or if you continue to see a "No record found for traveler" message, you can request an online correction by visiting CBP help, enter the Topic as "I-94/Traveler Compliance and upload the following documents:
