Your employment status is “on hold” while you take VESSA leave. As long as you return from leave when you are expected, your benefits will be the same as they were when you left.

• You are able to come back to the same (or an equivalent) job position when you return from leave.
• You will not lose any seniority or employment benefits you had before you took time off.
• Your employer must continue to provide health insurance benefits while you are on leave.
