Conference Services
This site includes information on how to schedule housing for groups while attending a summer camp or conference at SIUE. Summer accommodations also include group accommodations and intern housing, dependent on availability. Southern Illinois University Edwardsville is focused on preserving the health and safety of our community while serving our community with excellence. SIUE will continue to follow CDC and IDPH Restore Illinois guidance. As such, changes in the environment and our region’s status may result in changes to campus operations, such as room and building capacities, dining, overnight housing, etc. with limited notice.
Accommodations
Woodland Hall
For summer 2025, summer camps and conference housing will be in Woodland Hall. Resident rooms are arranged by suites with two rooms sharing a bathroom. Both shared and private bedrooms are available. Each wing has a social lounge and a study lounge. The building has a computer lab, vending area, laundry (additional cost), and front desk. Meeting space is available at an additional cost and is based on space availability and demand.
- Two-night minimum stay for all overnight requests.
- No youth participant (under the age of 18) may retain overnight accommodations without supervision. One chaperone/coach/group leader/supervisor is required for every 10 youth participants. All chaperones/coaches/group leaders/supervisors are required to be in the building anytime participants are in the building.

Cougar Village Apartments
For summer 2025, limited opportunities will be available in Cougar Village Apartments for groups or intern housing. Interested groups should contact Rex Jackson, Associate Director of Residence Life for more information and eligibility.
- No reservations will be accepted for less than a 4-week stay.
- No youth participants (under the age of 18) may retain overnight lodging accommodations in Cougar Village Apartments.
- The minimum group size for a Cougar Village conference housing request is 8 participants.
Parking
Overnight parking is available for use by conference guests in Woodland Hall. Guests staying in Cougar Village Apartments must contact Parking Services to make arrangements.
