Move-In Crew Registration is closed. Shift information will be sent out in late July to SIUE email addresses.
What does it mean to be a Move-In Crew volunteer?
Move-In Crew volunteers help new freshmen move into their residence hall. Volunteers sign up to work one or more shifts where they help new residents move-in.
Why do I want to be a part of the Move-In Crew?
Move-In Crew volunteers move into their Fall Housing assignment early (Tuesday, August 13), receive a Conference Card to use on campus and feel good about helping new residents move-in...remember, you were a new resident once, too! Being part of the Move-In Crew also counts towards service hours for student organizations, scholarships, and more.
Who can be part of the Move-In Crew?
This opportunity is available to all upperclass SIUE students. You cannot volunteer if you are an incoming first-year student moving into Bluff, Prairie, or Woodland Halls.
When will I receive my shift assignment?
Shift assignments will be sent to your SIUE email address end of July.
What do I need to do?
- Move-In Crew shift assignments will go out via email.
- Watch a Move-In Crew training video before your shift.
- Help new students move in on Wednesday, August 14 or Thursday, August 15, 2024.
Is there a deadline?
The deadline to register is July 8, 2024. Shift assignments will be emailed to your SIUE email account.
