Enrollment in a graduate program at SIUE (health science, education, instructional design, or computer sciences preferred). Good academic standing, usually with a minimum GPA requirement (often 3.0 or higher). Completed undergraduate degree in a related field to the assistantship. Strong attention to detail Able to work independently and anticipate issues that may arise with research projects and educational products. Proficiency in animation or video editing software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premier Pro, Camtasia, or similar). Advanced training is available
The Department of Pharmacy Practice, in collaboration with the Illinois Department of Human Services, is seeking a dedicated and creative Research Assistant (RA) to assist in developing online educational materials aimed at enhancing medical continuing education as well as participating in the scholarly evaluation of the effectiveness of the program. This role will support a grant-funded project focused on the organization, animation, and evaluation of educational content for healthcare professionals across Illinois.
Responsibilities:
Organization: Assist in the coordination and structuring of online educational modules, ensuring all content is well-organized, accessible, and aligned with project goals.
Animation and Visual Development: Create engaging, professional animations and visuals that enhance the educational experience. Utilize multimedia tools to produce clear, effective visuals that support learning objectives.
Evaluation and Quality Control: Participate in the evaluation of educational products, collecting feedback and data to assess the effectiveness and impact of the materials on learners. Assist in analyzing data and recommending improvements.
Project Support: Maintain open communication with project leads and team members, ensuring timely completion of tasks and reporting progress regularly.
