Loan Proration
The annual maximum loan amount an undergraduate student may borrow must be prorated when the student is enrolled in a program that is one academic year or more in length, but is also in a remaining period of study that is shorter than a full academic year. If a student submits a graduation application for fall semester or summer semester, the annual maximum loan amount will be prorated based on a student’s dependency status and number of enrolled semester hours. Subsidized and Unsubsidized must be calculated separately. Consult with the Office of Financial Aid if you have any questions.
