Graduate Students and Faculty Share Research Findings at Regional Conference

Four SIUE Civil Engineering graduate students and three faculty members attended the 2021 Mid-America Environmental Engineering Conference in St. Louis, Missouri this September. Master’s student Pooyan Nikeghbali, advised by Dr. Rohan Benjankar, presented work from his thesis research.
SIUE graduate student and Fulbright Scholar Shaker Nairat said, “Attending the MAEEC conference gave me the opportunity to learn about and explore new and advanced research studies in the environmental engineering field, presented by other graduate students in the region. It also allowed me to connect with other researchers and discuss ways we could work together in the future.”
