Job Description/Responsibilities
The SIUE School of Business is accepting resume packages for non-tenure eligible part-time, lecturers for the 2024-2025 academic year. This listing does not represent an actual vacancy; rather open recruitment allows interested persons to submit materials for future vacancies within the School of Business. These non-tenure eligible faculty positions will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Accounting, Computer Management & Information Systems, Economics & Finance, Business Statistics, and Management & Marketing.
The School of Business is among an elite five percent of business schools worldwide that have earned the prestigious accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). This accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide. Less than 25 percent of AACSB-accredited schools also hold the accounting accreditation. The School of Business has been accredited by AACSB since 1975, and the accountancy program achieved separate accreditation in 1987.
For the 18th consecutive year, the School of Business is named an outstanding business school by The Princeton Review. “The Best Business Schools: 2023 Edition” by The Princeton Review recommends the School as one of the best institutions in the U.S. from which students can earn an MBA. Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have a Master’s degree in a related field, from an AACSB International accredited institution, and must have five (5) recent years of significant business-related experience in the discipline for which they are applying. Faculty development must be completed annually to maintain AACSB qualifications.
