Our admissions team works closely with counselors and advisors from high schools and community colleges. High school counselors are encouraged to attend our annual Counselor Luncheon to be held on Friday, March 7, 2025. Registration will open on February 3.

Chicago Admitted Student Reception

Whether you’ve already chosen SIUE or haven’t entirely made up your mind, we're ready to celebrate YOU! We’re hosting an Admitted Student Reception in your area so you can get to know us better. Once you learn more about SIUE, you’ll be ready to make it official and save your spot in the fall class.
We'll have fun and talk about your fall 2025 enrollment.
- Enjoy free food and games. (The entry fee is covered only for admitted students. Each student may bring a maximum of two guests.)
- Meet SIUE Chicago area recruitment staff, SIUE alumni living in Chicago, and other admitted students from the Chicago area.
- Learn about student support services, financial aid, housing, and more.
