Colombia is the largest Latin American market population outside of Brazil and Mexico. Unlike Brazil, Colombia welcomes imports without protectionist barriers, offering a far easier business environment. The World Bank Doing Business 2012 report ranks Colombia third over the fourteenth-place Brazil in comparison for best country in Latin America. The Latin Business Index ranks Colombia as the sixth-best, placing over Brazil (eleventh-place).
