EXECUTE: Commonly Occurring Problems

Problem #3: Team member delivers something on time, but it comes up short in some way (e.g., is not what is needed or lacks quality).

Were requirements clearly documented? If not, the team needs to address that problem. If requirements were documented and the team member overlooked them, point the requirements out to the team member and ask: do you have everything you need to complete the deliverable? if not - what is needed? when will the deliverable be completed?
