10 Steps Towards Financial Success at SIUE
- To set up access for a parent, or other third-party, to view/pay your SIUE student account - do one or both of the following. This authorization is required to comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
- Authorized Payer through QuikPay(Nelnet) – This grants your authorized user access to make payments and receive email notices about upcoming payment due dates.
- Authorize a Proxy (Third-party) User(CougarNet) – This grants your user access to view your student’s account on Cougarnet, as well as contact campus departments on your behalf regarding their account. Access varies on what the student has selected. Instructions on how to set-up proxy access can be found at Student Records.
