Taylor Cross
Taylor Cross is the ACCESS office's Assistant Director for Inclusive Compliance. Her duties include conducting an ongoing field survey of physical spaces for compliance with the ADAAA (Americans with Disabilities Act as Amended) to evaluate resources and equipment such as ramps, rails, bathrooms, parking lots, and other physical indoor and outdoor spaces in conjunction with Disability Access Response Tool (DART) submissions. The ADIC is also responsible for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) initiatives and promoting a culture of inclusive excellence through programming and workshops for the office.
Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Southern Illinois University in Spring 2019. She completed her Master of Public Administration at SIUE in Spring 2021. She is also a Certified Diversity FaciliTrainer™ through NCCJ St. Louis as well as certified in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) for Higher Education by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
