The Illinois WIldcats Basketball Program is an AAU-affiliated organization for boys in the Chicago land and Suburban area that offers a higher level of competition than offered in recreational basketball leagues. The Illinois WIldcats Basketball Program is a 501(c)( 3) tax-exempt organization. Our objective is to provide an organization that stresses Education and the development of individual basketball skills as well as team concepts. This development will provide a forum for each player to display their abilities to compete throughout the Midwest at the regional and national levels.
Our teams range from 15 and Under to 17 and Under and is an AAU basketball traveling team. We have been very successful within the past years and our team, along with their families sacrifices a tremendous amount of time, dedication, total commitment and a desire to be the best at this sport level.
There are many costs associated with an AAU basketball program, such as various operating expenses equipment, uniforms, basketballs, insurance, tournaments, transportation, lodging, and gym rental fees. The Illinois Wildcats are a separate entity and not a division of any governmental body or park district. Therefore, the entire operational budget is generated from registration fees, fundraising and private donations.
Today, you can make an immediate difference in the life of a child with your sponsorship. Every dollar donated goes toward the programs; there are no paid administrators or coaches.
Through donations players were able to be exposed on the National Level. Below are last seasons schools who recruited our kids since we were able to enter into a variety of tournaments:
Jackson State University, UIC, Vincennes University, Loyola, Chicago State University, North Central College, Olive Harvey, Kennedy King College, and Wichita State University.
This year in July we are playing for the National Championship in Florida. We are trying to raise $2300 to cover the kids costs for the week. This includes, food, travel, and hotel stay for the kid. They will be playing on ESPN if we advance to the final four teams. Please help us get there through donations or Sponsorships
Thank you,
