The SIUE Graduate School needs you.
Whether you are an alumnus, a faculty or staff member, a retiree, a student or someone outside the University community with a commitment to SIUE, the Graduate School needs your help.
Will you answer the call for private support?
The need for private support has never been greater. As the Graduate School continues offering programming that stretches minds and stimulates student and faculty intellectual curiosity, it is imperative that we have the resources needed to attract intellectual pioneers to campus to advance creative and scholarly pursuit.
The state does not pay visiting University scholars, and federal funding for research has become increasingly competitive. Programming of this kind is the lifeblood of excellent graduate education, and only private support can make it possible.
How do we all benefit from graduate education?
Master's level education is a major source of economic growth. In many disciplines, the master's degree is replacing the baccalaureate degree as the new standard for professional competence. Most graduates of SIUE's graduate and professional programs fill demands in our region for highly trained professionals.
A high quality graduate program must attract faculty and students with leadership potential and provide them with opportunities to learn from and interact with the world's leading scientists, authors, analysts and thinkers.
