SIUE Undergraduate Engineering Research Project Featured in Industry Blog
The innovative heat storage system, Solar Owl, designed by an SIUE School of Engineering undergraduate research team, has been featured in the industry blog Phase Change Matters.
The Solar Owl design team comprises Will Wilson, of Edwardsville, Morton native Michelle Zdanowski, Gerardo Rojo, of St. Louis, and Brandon Koyanagi, of Highland.
Wilson originated the idea after researching emerging technologies in green energy. He was named 2017 Outstanding Senior in the School of Engineering’s Department of Mechanical Engineering.
