SIUE’s Yoon Presents Research on Lice Resurgence and Resistance to Treatment

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s Kyong Yoon, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Biological Sciences, is presenting his research on lice today at the National Meeting and Exposition of the American Chemical Society.
Yoon will share his pioneering analysis that high levels of gene mutations in the pests are linked to a resistance to common treatments.
