Respondus is a Windows based application that enhances the functionality and usability of Blackboard's quiz, survey, and self-test tools. It can also be used to convert an existing test in Word or plain text file into an electronic format suitable for use in Blackboard. Respondus also includes an option to print a test, making it an ideal tool for those currently creating print exams with the ultimate goal of moving those question banks into Blackboard for future electronic tests. |

Respondus LockDown Browser is a custom browser that provides a secure testing environment within Blackboard. Students are locked into the assessment and are unable to print, copy, go to another URL, or access other applications.
