SIUE’s New Life Head Start/Early Head Start Center Highlighted on St. Louis Public Radio

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Head Start/Early Head Start’s most recent facility, the New Life Center, was featured on St. Louis Public Radio.
Kathleen Appleby, Center coordinator, discussed both the Center’s and Head Start’s program offerings, requirements, benefits and challenges.
“We’re helping out families. We’re empowering them,” said Appleby in the interview. “They’ll have a better life if both parents can go to work without worrying about childcare.”
