Emeritus College Announces Spring Award Reception Date
The Emeriti Faculty Association of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville will host their annual Spring Reception on Wednesday, April 24, from 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. in the Special Event Room of Birger Hall. The Emeritus College offers grants to SIUE tenure and tenure-track faculty for projects that strengthen the academic quality of programs and enhance the reputation of the University. Proposals are being accepted until Friday, March 15 at 4:30 p.m.
The grant recipients will be announced at the Spring Reception, which will include opportunities for socializing, remarks from the Emeritus College Board members and presentations from last year’s award recipients. The reception will provide refreshments and the celebration of emeritus colleagues at SIUE.
Parking and the reception is free of charge. The Emeriti Faculty Association requests to reserve seat by emailing Laura Bernaix, PhD, RN, board president of the Emeritus College, no later than Monday, April 8.
